Nice dramatic edge from the start and straightaway cold but in an acceptable manner. Errata carries the sensation through but far from being erroneous. I liked it anyway, nice sound construction. Ghost suitably fabricated in soundspace with a nice sense of the spiritual, still dynamic in a way, still causative if not corporeal.
Ordeal was very medieval punishments for sure, which apparently abounded at the time and the ring of the ecclesiastic, adds the flavour. Good drama enhanced by finely blended sound management and organisation. Liked this one. Parallell pulsates perfectly and is complimented with piano and percussion. Sensibility reminds me of the film The Year of the Pig, where this pig gets tried for murder. It's a great film. And the track isn't half bad, kind of the ambient lounge bit. Bit of an anti-climax.
I think the cover suits the sense of 'coldness' that is inherent in this album. It's not even as far as being indifferent but potentially further than your wildest emotion.
