Album description

Recorded in early 1999, Post-Millennial Heebie-Jeebies was Glen's first full-length album. It featuresprimarily original material with a few new arrangements of traditional songs. Some of the tracks later became well known to Blacksburg audiences through open mic performances. These tracks are simple studio recordings of the singer and his guitar, recorded at Classic Recording Studios in Bristol, VA.

I'm glad to ear this kind of music on Jamendo, which I obviously like. There's only what's essential : a guitar, a voice and good folk songs. Drunken sailor is one of my all time favorites, and it's always good to hear someone sing it, so that it doesn't fall in oblivion. The production quite good, and I like the artwork. Not much more to say, except to thank the artist for sharing this good old stuff with us.

This album is okay. I think it is nothing unusual or special, but it is pleasant enough. He has a passable voice, I have heard better but I have heard worse, and it suits this kind of music. The songs are short and peppy. Standouts include Good Ship Roger and True or False.
