This album is quite short, so it's quite suitable for my first review. It contains only two short tracks (one 2:46 and one 0:54), both of which are instrumental.
L@L is a Satriani-esqe piece that was melodic and beautiful, but lacked a good hook to make it stick with me. The hammers, pull-offs and taps were well played. The accoustic guitar in the background balances the extremely compressed electric guitar in the foreground. The ending WAS a little abrupt, though. A fadeout would be a better end.
Merry Cornflakes is a very short accoustic piece that plays on a theme. Interesting and technically sound. I'd like to see the song fleshed out more, lengthening it and pulling in some other instruments.
I look forward to a whole album from t davis. Get a band, man!!!
