For something that was written around birthdays, it ain't bad. I've heard some vanity projects by big, important people before, and this has true warmth and fun behind it.

Keep it up. I wonder what 80 will sound like?

Well, some would say: nothing new under the sun since Charlie Christian, Wes Montgomery or Jim Hall, but the pleasure...
And what a pleasure !
A sweet and cool shuffle is enough to take us where the true thing stands : MUSIC IS, for the greatest and audible pleasure of all, from those who play it with that delightfull harmony, to those who are just listeners, minds sprinkling with notes and joyfull colors. The thrill is still perceptible long after the album's finished playing.
What to say, but -thank you for those delightable momments of music.

When the first track started I was certain I'm listening to Wes. Nothing new really, but I had a real good time. Stirring and touching performance. In my opinion it's a little short of dexterity, only in the 6th track I happened to hear some adroit part, but prevalently it's the same slow tempo all the way. Nevetherless it doesn't reduce the pleasure.

Et la fourty-one où quelle est? Pffff! L'a oubliée!C'est çà d'avoir la tête dans les notes et les sons.
Très bel album détente pour intellectuels fatigués et mères de famille épuisées.

Mesdames demandez à Monsieur de préparer le diner et aux enfants de mettre la table .Et vous, posez vous dans le relax avec un bon shiva de 20 ans et imprégnez vos papilles linguales et auditives de toutes ces douceurs.Hummmmm.

C'est bientôt la journée de la Femme,compagne agréable et pleine de sensibilités.

Merci l'artiste pour cet instant de quiétude

First of all, I'd like to say I admire the beautiful guitar tone on this album. Clearly there is a Grant Green influence. I also like the album's concept, songs written on each birthday in the titles.

The thing that I would wish for is this: a bit more variety. "Four fifty" stands out because it is different; the rest of the songs blend together somewhat.

Tout d'abord, je voudrais dire que j'admire la belle tonalité de guitare sur cet album. Manifestiment il y a l'influence de Grant Green. J'aime aussi le concept de l'album, les morceaux qui ont été faits sur chaque anniversaire aux titres.

La chose que je souhaiterais est ceci : un peu plus de variété. "Four fifty" se détache parce qu'il est différent ; le reste des morceaux confondent ensemble légèrement.

un peu de musique melodique sa change de la musique du 21 ieme siecle basé essentielement sur les variations des frequences spectrales :)

Encore un style qui ne fait pas partie de mes favoris et pourtant

Du bon jazz
simple si tant est que du jazz puisse être simple
ou léger si du jazz peut être léger
En tout cas se laisse écouter plaisamment
ici point de jazz élitiste inécoutable au néophyte
non ici un tres bon album a entendre au jazz manouche parfois un peut dans le même genre qu’un certain Jango
