Album description

Out West is an artwork in sound and image created for the exhibition "My Dad Was a Cowboy" at Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries in May 2003.

The farm tracks were recorded on Dumfriesshire farms in March 2003. The music for an imaginery western film is by Osaeris. The original concept is by Tom Pow.

Enjoyable Listen

When I first saw this album listed as electronic country and western I didn't know what I would expect. I'm glad my curiosity came through. A real enjoyable listen, even the barnyard tracks.
