The words "organic cosmos rock jazz r&b funk" caught my eye . . . being a former chemist, and interested in astronomy, and a fan of rock, jazz, R&B, and funk, I thought, this HAS to be good. And it was!
There is a definite 80s influence; maybe that's the synths. The themes and melodies are striking and interesting--everything is clearly defined in its own soundspace, not muddy at all.
If I had a complaint, its that there's not nearly enough information out there about how this album was put together--I'd like to know the details. Certainly, it is enjoyable, but it is also complex enough to fill my mind with technical questions.
