I first came to this web site and downloaded this album having no idea what I was in for. I downloaded, listen & loved it! I knew I was in the mood for some jazz but the ever difficult bop or bebop genre is very tough to find. So settled for this and I am glad I did. I think it's called break-beat jazz but it's cool like bop but modern so can be good at parties and what not. I like to game while listening to it makes for some good ambient mood music!

This is great, innovative electronic jazz. Very percussive. I'm unsure of the actual instrumentation - a lot of it is electronic. I think I hear some real bass and sax. The DJ rocks. I really enjoy this album a lot. Great for parties, road trips, etc.

Revolution Void deftly balances jazz and electronic music to create something that you would be comfortable recommending to fans of either genre.

Just when you think that a track is getting too comfortable, the music shifts and does something unique. "Headphonetic" starts off like stock downtempo, but then it breaks into a very up-tempo jazzy jam. "Nebulous Notions" begins with an electronic beat but eventually is overtaken by a jazz piano improv. The only thing consistent about the music is that it always sounds great and never gets boring.

Instead of the album sounding like sampled jazz music set to a beat, it sounds like a jazz album where samples and drum machines are equal improvisational partners to the classic jazz instruments.

This is a good album from start to finish. If you are a fan of either jazz or electronic music but only a casual listener of the other, this is a great album to check out.

Amazing album.

All the tracks are fantastic, would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of electronic music or jazz.

So good that it was one of two albums Redhat mentioned when pushing Creative Commons a couple of weeks ago.

The music on this album is very polished, yet it captures the improvisational feel of good jazz. It doesn't sound too polished. It's a high quality recording with good beats and no fear of experimentation. The experimental parts generally work and don't become crazy, but they push the comfort zone a bit. In short, they captured the energy and yet kept it a tight performance.

Another example that virtual Instruments get better these days and the overall production quality increases with Computers but that ain't all. Not more to say.

So far I'm quite enjoying it. Very atmospheric. Very trippy. Bits of jazz mixed in, gives it an emotional quality. Pretty great.

This work is incredible... I'm amazed by the way traditional jazzy sounds and patterns are mixed with modern ambient music.

The tracks are really well played, and the choice of the different instruments construct a unique path that leads the listener throught all songs.

Never boring... this album renews itself every time you listen to it.
