I've downloaded "Roots" in early spring and took the album along with other music with me when I moved temporarily to another part of the country. Whether I'd been working, or walking, or doing chores, or simply relaxing...I never got enough of this album and would always go back to it, over and over again. It's a perfect background music for whatever I'm doing, or it can be thought provoking if I'm listening to it carefully and with entire being. Very very nice, quality work of art. Thank you.
This is an album of elegant piano solos - poetic and classy and beautiful. All the tracks were unique and well thought out. I loved the kick in "Learning to Live" and the dreamy gentleness of "First Steps." "I Believe in You" was poignant and pleasantly romantic. This is an album to play at a special dinner with candlelight and moonlit promises. Just lovely!
Todas as músicas desse álbum são deliciosas. Mesmo sem ser um conhecedor nem um grande fã de piano, posso dizer que ouvi uma após outra sem me cansar. Você provou para mim que piano não tem que ser chato.
Fragrance like a bouquet of flowers, free, sweet, lovely and beautiful, with magnificent, colours of the rainbow in the blend of choices,and mix. Just like the music of the solo piano, drifting, spreading, and sharing it beauty, over everything it touches, or who hears it's wonderful, heart warming, moving, enchanting, music.
It is not classical or "classical-like" album. The rhythm often shifts into syncopation which creates somewhat funky or "jazzy" feeling though it is not a jazz album at all. It is really something you don't hear very often and I'm sure you'll like it ;)
