nice listening, jazzy, good enough to leave me wishing for more than three songs. Good potential, but this album leaves me thinking I've heard it before, along with a quick flashback to just about every hotel elevator I've been in. Couple this with a good voice however, and it'd be perfect!
First track is the best, in my opinion, equal parts jazz and funk blended to perfection, although lyrics would be a plus. This song could easily be longer, and adorned with more excursions on the bassline.
Second track is just plain easy listening, but also borderline elevator muzak.
Third track is just begging for having lyrics, I found myself just waiting for so meone to break into song.
If UNEX isn't too put off by my quips about muzak I'll be happily looking forward to more, especially like song #1.
