Aunque encerrados en un estudio todos estos temas han sido grabados en directo, a la antigua usanza, todos enchufados a la vez, dos o tres tomas de cada uno, selección del que ha quedado mejor, ecualizacion, compensación de volúmenes y listo, sin regrabados posteriores ni trucos digitales. Nuestro "quinto elemento" Jordi Salvadó es un técnico como pocos y nos hace sonar genial. Texas Lewis Slim nos acompañó en la sesión aportando sus toques de buen blues por la patilla pues se enchufó con solo un ensayo previo.
I really enjoyed this album. Tight but not too tight, funky with some good character. It is always a good sign when someone comes into my office and asks me "Who's this?" -- and this is LaMundial.
I like "The Pain" and "Valience" & "In the Morning"
Definitely sticking on my hard drive, and I'll be looking for the next release.
