This is one of my favourite albums from Jamendo.

It has a sweet groove I really like. The pianist has some good spots all over the album.

Please send more music to jamendo! ;-)

The first half of the album sounds great, "Project 5" for example. I think the first half contains much more elements of the jazz genre. However, the second half of the album has too much of a change of genre. Especially the last number "Dream on", becomes too repetitive. In my opinion it's not good that music in the album changes style so drastically towards the end.

And the number "Latin cover" is quite a turnoff, it's totally out of place.

great rythmes, excellent grooves, acid-jazz with great melodies....

Really nice groove-oriented music that's pleasant & unpredictable. This is one of the first things I listened to at Jamendo, so I immediately became a member.

feet dont' fail me now!
nice electric piano, groovin' horns, pure funk all the way.
excellent production quality, balanced tracks, good compositions.

piano is king in 'spring waltz'

also, in line with one other reviewer, i question the value of the political lyrics on 'latin cover' as they detract from the real point here - and that's groovin' funk

but still...

definitely a recommended album for purveyors of groove & funk music.

This is a nice album; featuring music raging from acidjazz, electrojazz going to pure jazz, electro-funk or big beat.

In "Latin cover", I don't know if I like the political lyrics. They sound a little polemic to me.

To the end, I find the album to get a little too much into the background. It gets dominated by almost shy harmonics.
