You make good music C.J. Rogers. I especially liked The first track, City, in which I believed I could hear the sounds of a city. I enjoyed the last one, Sunrise, for its tonality and gentle beat. The whole album is enticing and lovely with a fun theme, night in the city. Good stuff here.

It seems to me that a lot of electro/instrumental/ambient stuff can fall into two different traps--it can either get so repetitive that it's boring, or it can try to do so much that it's chaotic and overwhelming. This album strikes a great balance between the two. It's repetitive enough to be hypnotic yet varied enough to be entrancing.

At first, with the title, I was expecting almost a retro synth tribute to Kraftwerk, but within 2 tracks, I realized that the album is more of a modern dance friendly album with just a few references in some of the sumptious analog lead sounds and arps. The driving beats and conga percussion of City and Night Live immediately brought that home to me. This album fuses together the very best of early analog sounds, the more instrument realistic bells and pads of FM and wavetable synths and the modern beats and arrangement. Very enjoyable and definately recommended !
