A phenomenal beginning to an album, why have I not been here before to hear this luscious soundscaping! Spinner has a life of its own. Eric Satie the eminently well-measured phonometrician, puts this track through its own ambient pace, in his own space that is now his place. Traces of his measured output, a favourite of mine since listening to Gary Numan, of all people. Recurring Dreams reminds me of a spell in a monastery, which was full of revelations, a profound time for me of recollection and reassessment. A veritable world of seclusion and repetition in my subsequent world of dreams. Flowing certainly is. Which leads me onto Recall, a fine track, and this situation I find myself, is exemplary in the way I get treated in real life. Which brings me neatly to Foolishness. Who is the fool, me for caring, or them for not being able to fit me in? Quick enough to put me in a box, labelled crazy, but not strong enough to assimilate my thought patterns, as 'crazy' as they are intuitive. The system always wins because it has to, so that makes me the fool for not toeing the line. Nice music softspace, now I'm out of place. Beautiful sound surrounds, and that is what I get. Random is excellent soundscaping. Nice and dark, like the inside of a dusty server struggling to cope with its workload. If it doesn't fit in to the system, stick it in the bin. In the Flow speaks volumes, be sure you squeeze yourself into the right mould and way of thinking and speaking in this apparent democracy. Still at least, if nothing else, I now have my room with a view, a fitting note to end on.
