Plain and simple good electronic minimalism, so thoroughly well done you want to feel the ghost in the machine and comprehend the spirit in which it was conceived. It is executed very well and conveyed successfully but it kind of pulls the rug from under its own feet, with the 'bleep.bleep' attitude. Which is fine, if you can feel satisfaction from just hearing some good sounds, well constructed and expressed.
I can see the likeness of Aphex Twin's impartial nonchalance. However, I will say in defence that certain tracks, and Surfing on Sine Waves is proof of the soul the Analord can achieve when he gazes through his Polygon Window!-) Tidy work.
