What a rollercoaster ride! After 30 seconds, I was impressed. After two songs, I was really excited. Be my flower has great breaks and stunning harmonies on the chorus. But Summertime is a misguided cover version of the song, and the fourth track is quite average and forgettable. At that point I was disappointed, feeling that the first two songs were a fluke. Then News From The Sky completely redeemed the album, and I was excited again.
Am I crazy, or are tracks 6 and 7 complete repeats of tracks 1 and 2? What's going on here?
It seems to me that this is 3 great songs, 13 great minutes, with two average songs, and then two repeats.
Still, the three great songs have been added to my Jamendo playlist, and will be played frequently. They represent the best of Jamendo, and of Creative Commons music. So thank you for that gift.
